LESLYE HEADLAND
Leslye Headland is a New York-based playwright, screenwriter, and director. She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Theater: Bachelorette (Second Stage), Assistance (Playwrights Horizons), and the rest of the Seven Deadly Plays series: Cinephilia, Surfer Girl, Reverb, and The Accidental Blonde (IAMA Theatre Company). Leslye was awarded the 2012 Lilly Award for Playwriting in Comedy. TV: Staff writer for "Terriers" on FX, created by Ted Griffin and Shawn Ryan. Film: She wrote and directed the adaptation of her play Bachelorette, starring Kirsten Dunst. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and opened the Provincetown Film Festival. She recently wrote a remake of About Last Night for Screen Gems and executive producer Will Gluck.
