Screenwriting

Instructor: Keith Bunin

(Screenwriter, Upcoming film Horns starring Daniel Radcliffe)

Screenwriting is a specialized craft that requires its own set of dramatic writing principles. This 10-week class will cover structure, character development, genre, theme, dialogue, scene writing, and outlining specifically for this medium. You will apply these concepts to both original works and adaptations. Class time will be devoted to writing exercises and the development and discussion of screenplays-in-progress. Regardless of prior experience, students can expect to leave this class with the foundation to successfully tell a story on the silver screen.
