TEACHING ARTISTS
Christianne Greiert is an actor, producer, and teaching artist. She’s had the privilege of working with New York Theatre Workshop, Primary Stages, Chautauqua Institution, Red Fern Theatre Company, Shakespeare Gym, Florida Studio Theatre, and other Off-Broadway and emerging companies. Christianne specializes in crafting acting, improvisation, and experiential workshops for youth, and spent the early part of her career working with the internationally recognized WRITE A PLAY Program, which serves more than 50,000 students annually. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity and serves as the Producing Artistic Director of Clutch Productions, a nonprofit creative collective committed to fostering the voices of female artists in theatre and film. Mêlisa Annis, as a director and dramaturge, has had the pleasure of working with Primary Stages, NY; The Ambassadors Theatre Group, London; The Arcola Theater, London; Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center CO; Shadowland Stages, NY; Tangent Theater, NY; Queens College, NY; Rebellious Subjects, NY; Theater Masters, FL... She loves working with new plays in all stages of development. Mêlisa has also has a soft spot for language and has directed three classical productions (Shakespeare) and eight new fabulous musicals over the past few years. As a writer, Melisa's plays have been developed at and with Parity Productions, The Lark, Dorset Theater Festival at the Theresa Rebeck Writers Colony, The New School, Primary Stages, ESPA Drills (2014), The Lark, The National Arts Club NYC, The Playground Experiment, and RAL. She also had the joy of writing an episode for Amazon Studio's upcoming series for children (to be announced soon).Her personal essays have been published in several major publications, and she is a frequent contributor to the BBC. Mêlisa also teaches at the NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing program in NYC.
