Ali Ewoldt played the role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and was the first Asian American woman to do so. Her other New York credits include Cosette in the 1st Broadway Revival of Les Miserables, the Tony Award-winning revival of The King and I at Lincoln Center, Titanic with NY City Center Encores!, and Luisa in The Fantasticks Off-Broadway. Regionally, she has played Amalia in She Loves Me (Signature Theatre, Helen Hayes nomination), Portia in Something Rotten (Utah Shakes), Guenevere in Camelot (Barrington Stage), Natasha in ...Great Comet... (Pioneer), Mei in Gold Mountain (Utah Shakes), Rose in The Secret Garden (CTG). Ali's concert/symphony work includes 54 Below, Alice Tully Hall, NY Pops at Carnegie Hall, American Pops Orchestra, Houston Symphony, Kaohsiung Symphony, and The Boston Pops. Ali has a BA in psychology from Yale University and is a proud Filipina American. @aliewoldt
