Beth Hyland is thrilled to be part of Primary Stages’ Liff Lab! Her plays and musicals include Sylvia Sylvia Sylvia (Geffen Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival), Fires, Ohio (Alliance Theatre, Goodman New Stages), Baby Shower Katie (Round House Theatre), Seagulls (Oak Park Festival Theatre, Octagon Theatre Bolton), Fat Forever, Cancelina, Grippy Sock Vacation, and Anna K. She was a 2026 recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award, the 2025 winner of the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition, and the 2024 recipient of the Weissberger Prize. She currently holds commissions with Manhattan Theatre Club/Sloan, Geffen Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Steppenwolf Theatre, and Williamstown Theatre Festival, and has projects in development with Scenario Two and No Pool.
