LGBTQ+ Night: A Community Night and Talkback in collaboration with National Queer Theater

with playwright Libby Carr, Rose Oser (Producing Director, National Queer Theater), and Philip Calabro (Program Coordinator, PFLAG)

National Queer Theater joins forces with Primary Stages for a post-show dialogue about LGBTQ+ representation in the South and onstage, as well as advocacy efforts supporting LGBTQ+ youth in New York City and beyond. Moderated by Primary Stages Education & Community Outreach Manager Bri Ng Schwartz.

PFLAG

PFLAG ​is the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.

PFLAG NYC is the founding chapter of PFLAG, with a mission to create a better future for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) youth and adults through a partnership of parents, allies, and LGBTQ+ people. PFLAG NYC serves New York City families, schools, and communities in order to increase understanding and acceptance of LGBTQ+ people, with services including Support for Parents, Families, & Friends, such as support groups, coaching, and resources; a Safe Schools Program to ensure that LGBTQ+ youth are able to learn in an environment that is affirming, safe, and respectful; Community Outreach & Education programs to raise awareness and increase inclusivity; and Advocacy in
