CATHY BENDALL

Cathy is a partner emeritus at Withum whose distinguished career spans more than 42 years of dedicated service to not-for-profit organizations throughout the New York/New Jersey area and internationally. She is known not only for her exceptional technical expertise, but also for her enduring commitment to the mission-driven organizations and communities she has so thoughtfully served. A certified public accountant in New York and New Jersey, Cathy is also a chartered global management accountant and a trusted advisor to organizations working to make a meaningful impact.

Throughout her career, Cathy has been a respected leader within Withum’s Not-for-Profit and Education Services Team and a valued member of Withum’s Theatre, Entertainment and the Arts Services Team.

Cathy’s longstanding commitment to the nonprofit sector is especially meaningful within New York City’s not-for-profit theatre community, where she has served for more than 10 years. She has helped mission-driven organizations strengthen their financial reporting, governance, compliance, and long-term sustainability, bringing practical insight, technical excellence, and a deep respect for the arts to every client relationship. A frequent speaker on nonprofit operations, accounting, reporting, fiscal policies, and procedures, Cathy is recognized for her leadership, generosity of spirit, and lasting contributions to the nonprofit arts community she has been privileged to support.
