Jennifer Barnhart

Jennifer Barnhart is an actor, singer, and voiceover artist who is primarily known for her work as a puppeteer. She is an Emmy-nominated performer on Sesame Street (Zoe and Granny Bird, among others). One of the Original Broadway Company members of Avenue Q (Outer Critics Circle Award), she remained with the show for its entire six-year Broadway run, and has puppet-coached and directed various productions of it. She also works as a “human” regionally: Alabama Shakespeare Festival (Lady Macbeth, Goneril), The Arden Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House, and Bristol Riverside Theatre (World Premiere, The Nice List). TV: Between the Lions (Cleo), SNL, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, House of Cards, and Law & Order (SVU and Organized Crime).
