Katie Myers
Katie Myers is journalist, playwright, and audio producer living in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a journalist, she currently covers climate in western North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Before that, she reported from eastern Kentucky with Appalshop, a community media and arts center. She has been awarded fellowships from the Sundress Academy for the Arts, Inside Appalachia, and Tennessee Playwrights Studio. She has been published in Belt Magazine, the BBC, Scalawag Magazine, and others, and produced onstage by Tiger Lily Theatre, Dramatists Guild, the Bard College Gravitas Festival, and Cattywampus Puppet Council.
