Orville Mendoza (ACTOR)

Orville Mendoza received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his performance as “Tempura” in Primary Stages’ production of Christopher Durang and Peter Melnick’s Adrift in Macao. He also won a Barrymore Award for the same role in the Philadelphia Theater Company production. Most recently seen on Broadway this season in Swept Away directed by Michael Mayer and last season in The Heart of Rock and Roll directed by Gordon Greenberg. Orville has worked extensively with Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, being an original company member or Road Show at the Public Theater and the latest revivals of Pacific Overtures on Broadway and at Classic Stage Company.
